Staff Pharmacist

Arnot Ogden Medical Center - Elmira, NY

CPS Solutions is seeking highly motivated, customer service-oriented pharmacy professionals to elevate their careers. We are currently hiring a full-time, exempt Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. The role involves dispensing and clinical tasks, providing outstanding service to patients with complex, specialty diseases to improve clinical outcomes.

Salary: $130,000-140,000 per year (depending on experience) + bonus eligibility

Responsibilities:
  1. Dispense medications accurately and efficiently following physician orders, hospital protocols, and regulatory standards.
  2. Assist with patient enrollment and recruitment to maximize benefits.
  3. Deliver exceptional, VIP-level service to each patient, fostering trust and satisfaction.
  4. Support patients throughout their therapy to achieve optimal outcomes.
  5. Resolve drug-related issues and provide drug information to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  6. Coordinate clinical projects, assist with formulary decisions, and ensure billing compliance and revenue capture.
  7. Serve as a resource on specialty medications, increasing knowledge through research and writing activities.
Qualifications:
  • PharmD or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
  • Licensed or eligible to practice as a Pharmacist in NY.
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to patient care.
  • Ability to work independently and define processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience in ambulatory or specialty pharmacy.
  • Residency training or board certification.
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience or residency.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems like EPIC, Cerner, Meditech.
  • Experience with pharmacy dispensing systems such as QS1, RX30, etc.

Hospital Requirements (may be required):
