Our Staff Pharmacists play a critical role in cultivating a culture of excellence in their pharmacy by acting as a role model for all, demonstrating genuine care, and setting the bar for the pharmacy team.

As a Staff Pharmacist, you play a critical role at the forefront of delivering our purpose, modeling our values, and demonstrating genuine, authentic care for our patients. In addition to supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing the pharmacy team, you are accountable for supporting the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
  • Supporting the Pharmacy Manager and overseeing the pharmacy during shifts, including coaching and providing performance feedback to team members
  • Assuming Pharmacy Manager’s duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty
  • Supporting safe prescription fulfillment and following pharmacy workflow procedures
  • Providing compassionate patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and resolving insurance or medication issues
  • Offering and delivering immunizations and supporting pharmacy technicians in immunization efforts
  • Managing pharmacy inventory, especially cold chain products, and ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Ensuring pharmacy operations comply with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and escalating issues as needed
  • Maintaining flexibility for scheduling and business needs, including supporting the pharmacy schedule
  • Keeping clinical and technical skills current and seeking knowledge expansion opportunities
  • Supporting clinical services such as testing and prescribing, where permissible
  • Complying with all relevant laws, regulations, standards, and policies to ensure safety and privacy
Minimum Qualifications
  • Active Pharmacist License in the state of employment
  • Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
Additional Requirements
  • Regular attendance, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
  • Strong communication, customer service, and team skills
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting, standing, and detailed visual tasks
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and resolve issues effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of related experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or customer service
  • Willingness to work at different locations as needed

  • Expected weekly hours: 38.5
  • Employment type: Full-time
  • Pay range: $60.00 - $74.00 per hour, depending on experience and location
