Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Michigan is seeking a pharmacist to fill prescriptions accurately and maintain strong patient relationships. You will mentor technicians, uphold Meijer policies, and ensure compliant operations across the pharmacy.

The role emphasizes leadership, patient-focused service, and the ability to educate staff while growing the pharmacy business and delivering immunizations where permitted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system and policies.

• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Hold pharmacy technicians accountable for results in an appropriate and effective manner and have a vision to expand and grow the pharmacy business.

• Competent and knowledgeable of Meijer Policies and Procedures as well as state and federal laws.
• Effective communication skills and agent of change.
• Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
• Listen to the patient and resolve patient’s needs, customer service.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, will be responsible for the pharmacy operations.

What You Bring With You (Qualifications):
