Job summary

Epic Cardiovascular in Vero Beach, FL seeks an experienced perfusionist to join its growing heart program. You will contribute to a high-acuity clinical team and help expand the perfusion service.

Annual case volume is approximately 400, and relocation to Vero Beach, FL is required. CCP certification and graduation from an accredited American school are mandatory for this long-term position.

The candidate would be joining an established heart program in Vero Beach that will be expanding the perfusion team to 3 perfusionists. Approximate case volumes of 400 cases per year.

$150,000-$180,000+ per year based on skills, experience and possible bonus opportunities

Requirements

Candidate must have graduated from an accredited American school and be American Board certified (CCP).
Epic is unable to employ foreign perfusionists.

Candidates should also possess the following:

• Ability to adapt to a challenging clinical environment.
• Must possess good communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Must be able to practice evidence based medicine; also to advise and participate in clinical decisions with a team approach.
• Experience with blood management and willingness to instruct students is preferred.
• Must be willing to relocate to Vero Beach, FL or the immediate surrounding area.
