Job summary

Oho Group in Austin, TX is seeking a Staff PCB Design Engineer to join a collaborative R&D team focused on next-generation electronics. The role involves designing complex multilayer PCBs for high-speed and high-voltage applications, owning layouts from schematic to production release, and ensuring EMC, safety, and manufacturability standards are met.

You will work with cross-functional engineers to integrate PCBs into products, create manufacturing documentation, and support PCB validation

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of PCB design experience.
• Experience with complex multilayer PCB layouts for commercial products.

Responsibilities

• Design complex multilayer PCBs for high-speed, power, and high-voltage applications.
• Own PCB layouts from schematic through production release.
• Ensure designs meet EMC, safety, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on PCB integration and product development.
• Create manufacturing documentation and support PCB validation.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of PCB design experience.
• Experience with complex multilayer PCB layouts for commercial products.
• Proficiency with Cadence Allegro, OrCAD, Altium, or similar PCB design tools.
• Knowledge of EMC, DFM/DFA/DFT, and electrical safety standards.
• Experience with high-voltage and power electronics is highly desirable.
