Job summary

Danbury Hospital, part of Northwell Health, is seeking a full-time Pathologist to join a group of 24 board-certified pathologists. The position is based at the Danbury Hospital campus in Connecticut, with a competitive base salary and benefits package.

The ideal candidate will hold an MD or DO with AP/CP residency, be board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and have excellent communication skills for interaction with clinicians and laboratory staff.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with AP/CP residency completed.
• Board Certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology required.
• Subspecialty training/experience encouraged.
• All candidates should have excellent communication with clinicians and lab staff.

Responsibilities

• Staff pathologist duties at a community hospital with cancer program.
• Perform frozen sections and cytology interpretations (GYN and non-GYN).
• Occasional autopsies may be required.
• Collaborate with clinicians and laboratory staff to support patient care.
