A leading insurance company is seeking a Staff/Senior Staff Attorney in San Francisco to manage Workers’ Compensation cases. The role involves legal research, strategy development, and client communication within a collaborative, inclusive team environment. Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of experience, a JD, and a California license. The position offers a flexible work model and competitive compensation between $128,000 and $192,000.

The Staff / Senior Staff Attorney role is an in-house position that will handle a designated caseload of Workers’ Compensation cases appearances before the California Workers' Compensation Boards in San Francisco, Oakland, and Santa Rosa.
Our selected candidate will be part of collaborative learning environment with onsite appearances in partnership with our Attorney Staff. Note- This position may be filled as a Staff Attorney or a Senior Staff Attorney commensurate with a candidate’s experience.
This position is a remote work opportunity however, our selected candidate will travel 1-4 days per week (pending future court openings) within the following geography: San Francisco, Oakland, and Santa Rosa

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is: $128,000 - $192,000
The posted salary range reflects our ability to hire at different position titles and levels depending on background and experience.
