Base pay range

Senior Accountant

Rapidly growing company is looking to build out their Accounting team and bring on a Staff or Senior Accountant. If you would like to progress your career, be paid well and work in a fast paced, high-energy environment in a stable, yet growing company, this could be the right position for you.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting including general ledger account reconciliations
• Develops forecasts using multiple assumptions
• Coordinates quarterly dividend payable with the Treasury Department
• Prepare journal entries for monthly close
• Prepares month-end reports, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries and required items for financial close to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to defined standards.
• Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
• Assists with accounting-related projects and accounting research on an as-needed basis
• Records quarterly employee stock purchase plan transactions
• Maintain clear communication paths with stakeholders
• Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounting
• Public accounting experience a major plus but not required
• Education: Requires Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
