What You’ll Do
- Serve as a systems engineer who interfaces with internal programs and external customers.
- Develop stakeholder‑driven artifacts and work with functional areas to ensure they are complete and accurate; contract deliverables may be demonstrated at stakeholder meetings and events.
- Act as a key liaison between Anduril and government customers, providing Systems Engineering and Mission Systems Integration expertise.
- Participate in the creation of our Digital and Systems Engineering Strategy and its implementation.
- Acquire a deep understanding of Anduril platforms, autonomy, simulation, and perception products through the maintenance of systems‑engineering artifacts.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, computer science, or a comparable engineering or technical field.
- 12+ years of Systems Engineering experience across the life cycle.
- Understanding of interoperability and integration challenges in defense systems.
- Familiarity with Ground System use cases, behaviors, and methods (Mission Planning, Mission Debrief, Maintenance, Air Vehicle C2, etc.).
- Experience with requirements analysis and system design in a government context.
- Experience with Systems Engineering, Requirements Elicitation and Management, Integration, and Test Activities on complex systems—DoD weapon systems, space systems, etc.
- Experience with SysML, DoDAF, UAFP, or similar frameworks.
- Experience developing various model‑based systems engineering artifacts—Operational Viewpoints, System Viewpoints, activity diagrams, use case diagrams, BDDs, IBDs, parametric diagrams, etc.
- Proficiency with Cameo MagicDraw or similar engineering software (Rhapsody, SparxEA, etc.).
- Experience with Digital Engineering workflows and Integrated Modeling Environments (e.g., Teamwork Cloud).
- Outstanding communication skills, including presentation of developed artifacts.
- Active U.S. Secret security clearance (maintained).
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a top‑secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Contribution to the T‑GRA standard or implementation in an adopting Ground System.
- Experience defining or implementing Ground System behaviors through UCI.
- Automation skills in Cameo or Python relevant to Systems Engineering use cases.
- Understanding of cloud or hybrid‑cloud architectures.
- INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) certification.
US Salary Range
$191,000—$253,000 USD
