Job summary

Argmax seeks a Staff Engineer for its On-device AI Frameworks team in Palo Alto, CA. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize software frameworks for native AI workloads on Apple and Android devices. Collaborate closely with research teams, turning prototypes into production-ready solutions, while also supporting enterprise customers.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in SDK or Frameworks development, fluent in Swift, and familiarity with AI technologies. Argmax offers competitive equity, healthcare, and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in SDK or Frameworks development for iOS or macOS.
• Fluency in Swift.
• Fluency in profiling and optimizing native applications.
• Familiarity with at least one of Core ML, MLX Swift, LiteRT, ONNX, WebGPU or ExecuTorch.

Responsibilities

• Productionize research prototypes into production-ready implementations.
• Contribute to SDK and Frameworks design to minimize technical debt.
• Support Enterprise customers during their onboarding journey.
