NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY is seeking a Staff Nurse - RN for Pediatric Pre/Post Op to join our days team. You will provide comprehensive perioperative care for pediatric patients and collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure safety and comfort.

Requirements include Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, current NYS RN license, BCLS/ACLS certifications, and at least two years RN experience in PreOp, PACU, or ICU. Pediatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years RN experience in PreOp, PACU, or ICU.
• Pediatric nursing experience is preferred.
• Current New York State RN license is required.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsabilités

• Provide preoperative and postoperative care for pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Support families and coordinate care throughout the perioperative period.

This is a full time position working 6:00am-5:00pm at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Preferred Criteria

• At least two years RN experience in PreOp, PACU, or ICU
• Acute care experience
• Pediatric experience

• BCLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
