Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a Registered or Practical Nurse (RN/LPN) to join our nightshift nursing team at the Seminole, FL facility. The role supports care for patients undergoing treatment for SUD and mental health conditions, upholding high standards and regulatory compliance.

You will conduct nursing assessments, administer medications, document thoroughly, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to guide treatment planning and post-discharge care, while maintaining compassion

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in Florida.
• Nursing degree/diploma from an accredited school of nursing.
• Strong assessment and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to maintain objectivity and empathy in patient interactions.
• Adherence to the Healthcare Code of Ethics.
• Knowledge of state and federal confidentiality regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, including ASAM forms.
• Provide routine nursing care at various levels of care.
• Identify treatment needs and integrate findings into collaborative, measurable treatment plans.
• Complete nursing documentation per facility and state requirements.
• Review medication logs and assist the medical department with tasks.
• Administer medications as directed by the medical provider.
• Facilitate medication education for patients.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and referral sources on progress updates and post-discharge planning.
• Apply clinical judgment in crisis situations, including risk assessments and de-escalation; build rapport and trust with patients.
