Banyan Treatment Centers in Gilman, IL is seeking a Staff Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team and support patients in treatment for substance use disorders and mental health conditions.

You will provide nursing care, complete documentation, administer medications, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support recovery goals. This part-time role offers a 12-hour shift weekly, on-site, with competitive pay and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine care at various levels of care.
• Identify treatment needs and integrate findings into collaborative, measurable treatment plans.
• Complete nursing documentation in accordance with facility and state requirements.
• Review medication logs and assist the medical department in a variety of tasks.
• Administer medications as directed by the medical provider.
• Facilitate medication education and incorporate nursing and medical issues into treatment plans.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and referral sources to provide progress updates and coordinate post-discharge recovery plans.
• Apply clinical judgment and intervention skills in crisis situations, including risk assessments and de-escalation.
• Tailor nursing approaches to meet diverse patient needs.
• Build rapport and foster trust with patients through strong interpersonal skills.

• Reports to: Director of Nursing
• Schedule: Part-time, One 12-hour shift per week. (Days and Nightshift)
• Location: Gilman, IL (On-Site)
• Compensation: 35- 36 hourly

Key Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

• Adherence to the Healthcare Code of Ethics.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission Standards.
• Knowledge of State and Federal confidentiality regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in behavioral/mental health, acute care, detox, or mental health facilities.
• Familiarity with KIPU EMR system.
