Job summary

The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC-James) seeks a Staff Nurse to deliver direct patient care and support families in the care plan.

You will assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate nursing care, and supervise the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes within the professional practice model. Ohio license or interim permit is required. Experience in oncology or acute care preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program is required.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide care to the patient and family, directing and supervising nursing care by the team.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate, and evaluate nursing care aligned with the professional practice model.
