Job Overview

Liberty Hospital is a Level 2 Trauma Center and both Stroke and STEMI certified. Our Emergency Department is experiencing increasing volumes, and we are seeking experienced nurses to join our team. This role offers valuable technical experience and opportunities for career development, including quality initiatives, committee participation, specialty certifications, and training for charge or precepting roles.

Position Details
  • Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN options available
  • Shifts: Days, Mid, and Night shifts
Responsibilities

Responsible for delivering professional nursing services addressing patients' physical, psycho-social, spiritual, cultural, developmental, and age-specific needs. Accountable for a group of patients during a designated time, providing care within an assigned unit and coordinating care planning with other disciplines.

Qualifications
  • Required Education/Training: Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current RN license in Missouri, BLS, ACLS (within 90 days of hire)
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree
  • Minimum one year ER or critical care experience
  • Certifications: CEN, CCRN, TNCC, ENPC, PALS
