Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) for Acute Care in General Medicine at University Hospital. The Staff Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, aligning with the professional practice model while supporting family involvement and advancing patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program is required.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit is required.
• Experience in a relevant care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide care to patients and their families, directing nursing care provided by the team.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate nursing care per the professional practice model.
• Support patient care goals and collaborate with attending physicians, residents and students.

Education
