Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH is seeking a Staff Nurse to manage and provide high-quality patient care on 21 North in the Acute Care Department, a 30-bed unit specializing in trauma, orthopedic, and emergency general surgery.

The Staff Nurse will assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate nursing care in alignment with the professional practice model, mentoring other team members and contributing to patient safety and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from CCNE or ACEN accredited program.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate patient nursing care.
• Supervise nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team.
• Direct and align nursing care with the professional practice model.
