The McLean Hospital Corporation is seeking a Staff RN to work with the clinical team providing ongoing medical monitoring, assessment, and counseling for non-psychiatric conditions. This role includes brief therapy, psychoeducation, and coordination of care across McLean and external clinics.
Responsibilities include leading patient groups, documenting interventions, and ensuring medication administration safety via BMV scanning. Onsite facility at 115 Mill Street with a 40-hour work week.

The staff RN works closely with the clinical team to provide ongoing medical monitoring, assessment, and counseling for non-psychiatric medical conditions. The RN will provide brief therapy and psychoeducation around treatment, diagnosis, and medications. Duties include coordinating medical care with other McLean services and external clinics and hospitals. Additionally, the RN will provide containment and support for the community given that this is a milieu-based treatment committed to implementing specific evidence-based principles of interpersonal management. They will also be responsible for MAP certification training and testing for counselors and for providing nursing care within the standards of the department, hospital and regulatory agencies.
Education: Other Certificate/Diploma Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.

The Resource Team at McLean provides flexible, responsive care by supporting all 10 inpatient units and the Clinical Evaluation Center based on real-time staffing needs. Team members ensure continuity of care across diverse clinical settings, adapting quickly to different patient populations and unit protocols.
