Job Description

Position: Registered Nurse – Pediatric Unit

Location: Evanston, IL

Work Schedule: Full time, 36 hours/week, with shifts from 1500-2330 or 1900-0730, including weekend rotation.

Travel: No

Float: Yes

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the Pediatric Unit.
• Use the nursing process for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Guide and supervise unlicensed assistive personnel.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experiences.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Current Illinois RN license.
• At least 1 year of acute care or pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in pediatrics is a plus.
