The University of Iowa is seeking a Staff Nurse for its Downtown Campus. This role involves applying nursing theory, coordinating patient care, and ensuring a safe environment. Candidates must possess a nursing degree and a current Iowa nursing license. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including paid vacation and health insurance.
Qualified candidates are eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $12,500 Sign-on Bonus
SEIU covered staff working in operating rooms will receive an additional $10.00 per hour for all hours worked for a limited time.

University of Iowa Health Care Medical Center Downtown(located at 500 E. Market Street, Iowa City, IA)is a 194-bed hospital that became part of Iowa’s only comprehensive academic health system on Jan. 31, 2024.
Characteristic Duties of our Staff Nurses include but are not limited to :
Percent of Time : 90-100%
Schedule: Day Shifts (0700-1530) with call
Location: Downtown Campus
Salary: $54,000 (at 90% effort) to commensurate *this does not include inpatient or shift differential
Pay Differentials: Shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts. Premium pay for additional shifts greater than 4 hours. Inpatient differentials up to $5,000 per year
