University Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse (Infusion Center) to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for adult oncology patients in Outpatient Oncology Services. The role requires applying chemotherapy and radiation therapy knowledge to ensure safe, high-quality care and outcomes.
Responsibilities include coordinating care, supporting clinic operations, and adhering to UH, Joint Commission, and DOH standards.
The primary purpose of the Staff Nurse (Infusion Center) position is to administer total patient care based on individualized needs of assigned patients and families in accordance with professional nursing standards.
The Staff Nurse will utilize knowledge of chemotherapy and/or radiation oncology procedures to assess, screen, evaluate, educate, and provide care management/outcome management in accordance with professional nursing standards to adult patients who are under the care of the Outpatient Oncology Services team.
The role of the RN includes practice/office support. Always demonstrates team approaches and flexibility by rotation between Oncology Service Departments as required. Shows a working knowledge of UH, Joint Commission & DOH regulations. Participates in evidence based nursing and related QA and PI endeavors.
In compliance with New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Act, the hourly range for this position is $46.46 - $63.82 .
