Job summary

Broadlawns Medical Center is seeking a Staff Nurse for the ICU on a weekend-night schedule (7P–7A) at 0.6 FTE. The role requires active Iowa RN licensure and BLS certification, with the ability to document in the EMR and supervise other nursing staff as needed.

The ICU nurse will provide direct patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and uphold HIPAA, quality care standards, and a patient‑centered approach in a high‑volume setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN license recognized by the State of Iowa Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (Health Care Provider) certification completed prior to independent patient care.
• Ability to document in EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive professional nursing care under supervision and coordinates patient care with the care team.
• Oversees non-professional nursing personnel in the provision of nursing care.
• Maintains HIPAA confidentiality and adheres to hospital policies and procedures.
