Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC is seeking a full-time registered nurse for the day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including every other weekend. The RN will apply the nursing process to provide and document patient care according to the medical plan of care and established policies.

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina with an ADN and BLS certification; NRP within 1 year of hire. Adheres to SRH policies and collaborates with the care team under the Nurse Manager.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
• ADN degree required.
• BLS certification required; NRP within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

Utilizing the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) provides and documents professional nursing care to patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH and Nursing Policies and Standard Work. Coordinates and delegates the care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel. Communicates findings as indicated to appropriate person(s). Obtain NRP certification within 1 year of hire. Complete annual review of unit specific Code A responsibilities. Performs any other job-related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Director.
