NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Critical Care Float Pool on the Night shift, full-time. You will work across MICU, SICU, Neuroscience ICU and other high-acuity units, delivering expert care to diverse patient populations.

The role offers the chance to gain experience across multiple specialties, with autonomous practice, teamwork, and leadership support as you rotate through units that include obstetric PACU/post-Cesarean care when needed.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Current NYS RN licensure.
• BCLS and ACLS certification.
• Minimum two years’ Critical Care RN experience; SDU and cardiac surgical experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Float pool RN to multiple critical care units including MICU, SICU, Neuroscience ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU and Step-Down Units.
• Provide care for post-C Cesarean and post-procedural obstetrical patients where applicable (PACU).
• Deliver high-acuity nursing care with autonomous decision-making and collaboration with the care team.
• Support patient care across departments while maintaining safety and standards.

Nurses in this dynamic role support the state-of-the-art Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns by recovering post-Cesarean Section and post-procedural obstetrical patients in the PACU and by playing a critical role in maternal emergency response.
