Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Staff Nurse Inpatient in McHenry, Illinois. This position works 20 hours per week with an on-call commitment of 1-2 days per pay period, including weekends.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Responsibilities include delivering individualized nursing care and collaborating with a healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes.

The salary range for this position is $34.50 - $55.20 (Hourly Rate).
Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.
This position works 20 hours per week with an on-call commitment 1-2 days per two‑week pay period, plus a weekend commitment every 5th‑6th weekend. On‑call requires a 30‑minute response time to the McHenry Hospital. Start time rotates between 6am and 8am with an 8, 9 or 10‑hour shift. Unfortunately, we cannot assign the same day off every week due to the schedule of procedures being unpredictable.

A clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care to the acutely ill patient through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. Effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members, while maintaining ANA standards of professional nursing practice.
