Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Electrophysiology (EP) Device Clinic. You will manage about twenty patients daily, performing initial assessments after device implantation and routine device checks, in a 7.5 hour daytime shift, Monday-Friday, with on-site duties.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Nursing, an active New York RN license, and a minimum of one year in Cardiac or EP care, plus BCLS.

Qualifications

• RN with at least 1 year of experience.
• Cardiac or EP experience of 1+ year.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).
• BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessments after device implantation and periodic device checks.
• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physicians to plan patient care.
• Deliver cardiology focused nursing care and education.
• Monitor patient status and respond to device alerts.
