Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner specialized in Pediatric Cardiac ICU for a full-time rotating role in New York, NY. You will deliver high-level pediatric cardiac care, work with a multidisciplinary team, and support families throughout the patient journey.

The role requires a Master’s Degree in specialty of practice, NYS NP licensure, board certification in Pediatric NP, and BCLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in specialty of practice required.
• Current New York State License as Nurse Practitioner required.
• Board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner required.
• BCLS and PALS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric cardiac ICU NP care in a high-acuity, team-based environment.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and families to develop and implement care plans.
• Support patient and family education and discharge planning.

• Minimum of one year of critical/acute care NP experience
• Minimum of 3 years Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care experience as a RN

Required Criteria

• Master’s Degree in specialty of practice
• Current New York State License required as Nurse Practitioner in area of practice
• Board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
• BCLS and PALS certification
