Job summary

Englewood Health in Englewood, NJ seeks a Staff Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in ICU/ED, following established policies and protocols. The role requires a minimum of 2 years ICU or ED experience and a BSN, with NJ RN license, BLS and ACLS.

PALS may be offered during orientation; CCRN or CEN is preferred. The position is full-time with night shifts (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM) in the Critical Care Float Team, located in Englewood, NJ.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of current ICU or ED experience required.
• BSN required.
• Current NJ RN License, BLS and ACLS required. PALS can be offered during orientation. CCRN or CEN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creating an environment that leads to a positive patient care experience by evaluating, planning and implementing effective plans of care and communicating with both patients and their families.
• Serving as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care in an acute or clinic setting.
• Making sound decisions in response to changes in condition/response to treatment while maintaining a calm demeanor.
• Utilizing the Electronic Health Record to document patient care.
• Effectively coordinating with physicians and team members regarding changes in patient status, symptomatology, results of diagnostic tests and critical test values.
