Job summary

Self Regional is seeking a Staff Nurse for Baylor, 3 Tower, Surgery, night shift (7PM-7:30AM) on a full-time basis. This role provides and documents professional nursing care to surgical patients, coordinating care with the team.

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina and ADN degree holders with BLS certification are invited to apply. The position includes every other weekend and opportunities to contribute to patient-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• ADN degree and SC RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Nursing process and clinical documentation expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document professional nursing care to medical patients.
• Coordinate and delegate care with/to other professionals.
• Communicate findings to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with peritoneal dialysis on patients.
• Perform other duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Director.

Utilizing the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) provides and documents professional nursing care to medical patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH and Nursing Policies and Standard Work. Coordinates and delegates the care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel. Communicates findings as indicated to appropriate person(s). Demonstrate the ability to assist with peritoneal dialysis on patients. Performs any other job-related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Director.

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina. ADN degree. BLS certified.
