Job summary

Staff Nurse - Baylor, 3 Tower, night shift, full time, 7pm-7:30am, in Greenwood, SC. Utilizing the Nursing Process to deliver professional nursing care to medical patients per the care plan and policies. Coordinates care with team, delegates tasks, and communicates findings to the right people.

May assist with peritoneal dialysis and perform additional duties as requested by management. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina; ADN degree; BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• Nursing skills and patient care expertise required.
• SC RN licensure and ADN degree are mandatory.
• BLS certification mandatory for clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide care using the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation).
• Coordinate and delegate care with other professionals and ancillary staff.
• Communicate findings to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Assist with peritoneal dialysis on patients and perform other duties as assigned by Nurse Manager or Director.

Utilizing the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) provides and documents professional nursing care to medical patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH and Nursing Policies and Standard Work. Coordinates and delegates the care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel. Communicates findings as indicated to appropriate person(s). Demonstrate the ability to assist with peritoneal dialysis on patients. Performs any other job-related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Director.

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina. ADN degree. BLS certified.
