Job summary

QSL Management, at The Blake at Carnes Crossroads in Summerville, SC, is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care for residents in a senior living setting.

You will administer medications, monitor residents’ health needs, and support memory and performance improvement programs while working with the Wellness Leadership team. Flexibility for weekend and holiday shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LPN license issued by the state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current First Aid certification preferred.
• Assisted Living or Long-term care experience preferred.
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders within the scope of the applicable board and state regulations for assisted living.
• Provide world class care and service for residents while remaining flexible and adapt to change.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Work independently (with minimal direct supervision) and with a team to make decisions, organize/prioritize tasks effectively, document clearly, and follow through on assignments.
• Serve as charge nurse on shift for the personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team
