Job summary

Narayana Health is seeking skilled nursing professionals to assess patient needs and provide essential nursing interventions. You will monitor vital signs, manage pain scores, and document accurately throughout shifts.

You will administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed, while promptly reporting any changes to the physician and Nursing In-Charge. Collaborative teamwork is required for pre- and post-operative care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' nursing care needs and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
• Monitor and record vital signs, pain score, level of consciousness, intake-output, and other relevant clinical parameters.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, blood/blood products, and other treatments as prescribed by the treating physician.
• Observe patients for changes in clinical condition and promptly report abnormalities to the treating doctor and Nursing In-Charge.
• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, investigations, and emergency interventions.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care as applicable.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation, including nursing notes, medication records, care plans, and observation charts.
• Provide appropriate care to critically ill, dependent, elderly, and high-risk patients as per departmental requirements.
