Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Staff Network Engineer for our team based in Aurora, CO. The role involves designing and planning network communication systems and providing specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. The candidate must troubleshoot and isolate network faults and failures in a LAN/WAN environment, provide detailed guidance on hardware and software selections, and recommend implementation techniques for maximum efficiency. The candidate should maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and software interconnections and interfacing (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers) and evaluate and report on new communication technologies to enhance network capabilities. Travel is required at a minimum of 20% of the time.
Primary Level Salary Range: $161,000.00 – $241,400.00. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary and annual bonuses, long‑term incentives, and benefits including health insurance, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, company‑paid holidays and paid time off for vacation and personal business.
Relocation assistance may be available. Clearance required: Polygraph. Travel requirement: 25% of the time. U.S. citizenship is required for positions with government clearance.
