This position requires translating device development roadmaps into actionable epi process development and improvement plans, and driving these plans to completion. For advanced development, the engineer must identify long-term projects or key technologies essential for future device needs.
The Engineer will support production by analyzing and modeling device data, linking it to epi processes to improve yields and performance. Experience and vision in automating analytic processes to streamline epi distributions are essential. Ability to work collaboratively in a close-knit team environment is a must.
- Recent PhD in Electrical Engineering or Materials Science with a focus on optoelectronic devices
- 0-2+ years industry experience in InP-based optoelectronic epitaxy and devices is preferred
- Fundamental experience in compound semiconductor epitaxy
- Strong understanding of device performance related to epitaxy process and design
- Ability to query data, perform statistical analysis, and present findings effectively
- Proven leadership in managing projects individually or within teams
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
