Job summary

Twilio is seeking a Staff Mobile Software Engineer for Stytch to scale identity and fraud products across Twilio’s platform. You’ll build mobile SDKs powering authentication and fraud prevention, working with product and leadership to deliver high-impact features at scale.

You will own design and code, mentor teammates, and strengthen observability and reliability in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

6+ years of professional mobile engineering experience.
Android development with Kotlin or Java.
Deep understanding of software engineering best practices, including monitoring and observability.
Experience making high-impact technical decisions and leading initiatives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Build and own mobile SDKs for identity and fraud detection on Twilio Stytch.
Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to define direction and roadmap.
Align architecture across Twilio and Stytch teams; unblock cross-team initiatives.
Demonstrate technical ownership: design docs, code reviews, and shipping features.
Improve production quality through observability and incident response.
Mentor engineers and raise the team's technical bar.
