Job summary

Marki Microwave in Boston, MA is seeking a Staff Design Engineer to design, simulate, test, and verify MMIC designs with a focus on SOI switch development and related SOI products. This onsite role requires access control due to EAR/ITAR constraints and demands hands-on lab work.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of silicon development experience, strong RF engineering fundamentals, and proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso and 3D EM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, RF Engineering or related field
• 3–5 years hands-on silicon development experience
• Experience with high-frequency packaging techniques and PDK validation/tapeout

Responsibilities

• Design new MMIC circuits for silicon microwave applications
• Layout MMICs, perform DRC and LVS checks
• Interact with foundries to validate PDK models and tapeout wafers
• Characterize products in lab to meet project schedules
• Assist with datasheet generation and support engineering teams
• Support product development and production release cycles
• Define product specifications and develop test plans
