Job summary

General Motors AV organization seeks an experienced engineer to own end-to-end data labeling platform components, blending software, data, and ML workflows to scale labeling at foundation-model scale.

You will collaborate across AI/ML engineers, product ops, PMs, data science, and ML platform teams to shape the roadmap and deliver high‑performance labeling experiences across multiple models and cities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience building distributed platforms.
• Experience with AI tools to accelerate capabilities.
• Proficiency in full-stack code with Python/TypeScript/Go/React/SQL/GraphQL.

Responsibilities

• Define platform vision and roadmap with cross-team leads.
• Own projects end-to-end from design to rollout.
• Collaborate across the AV stack to translate requirements into workflows, APIs, UIs.
• Develop automation/tools for labeling workflows and data quality.
• Design scalable labeling experiences and test high‑performance tools.
• Advocate AI-powered development workflows to increase velocity while ensuring quality.
