Job summary

Uber’s Rider Pricing team shapes prices and promotions used by billions of rides. You will own a key pillar of pricing, set modeling direction, and work across ML, serving, and optimization components to improve accuracy and business impact.

Lead a team of SWE/MLE engineers, drive end-to-end roadmaps, mentor juniors, and partner with product and data teams to deploy production algorithms at scale, including deep learning, causal modeling, and personalization.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS/Engineering with 7+ years of full-time engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, Go and ML/optimization knowledge.
• Experience solving pricing, ranking or optimization problems using ML.

Responsibilities

• Lead SWE/MLE teams to develop ML and optimization techniques powering rider pricing.
• Improve model and algorithm performance for pricing and promotion targeting.
• Own end-to-end roadmap with cross-functional partners.
• Mentor junior teammates and promote ML best practices across teams.
