Reddit, Inc. is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer for the Notifications Relevance team in the United States. You will lead large-scale recommender systems, advance retrieval and ranking pipelines, and deploy state-of-the-art ML models including LLMs to power personalized notifications.

You will work with ML, Product, Infrastructure, and DS teams to shape the strategy, architecture, and execution across the engineering organization, impacting millions of users daily.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience with deep expertise in large-scale recommender systems.
• Proven ability to identify key opportunities, define roadmaps and drive scalable improvement in notifications relevance.
• Experience building and deploying ML models using PyTorch or TensorFlow; production experience with LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement content discovery algorithms that deliver a highly personalized user experience.
• Define and drive the vision for Reddit's notifications relevance team.
• Enhance candidate retrieval, ranking, and budgeting; deploy models and integrate LLMs with robust monitoring.
