Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience in ML engineering / applied ML / software engineering.
• Led 01 ML/LLM efforts delivering production systems with measurable impact.
• Strong track record shipping ML-powered systems in domains like recommendation, ranking, retrieval, or commerce.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical delivery for cross-team initiatives from problem framing to rollout.
• Define milestones and quality bars for the domain with leadership.
• Build and evolve ML and GenAI systems for merchant quality and understanding.
• Establish evaluation practices across ML + LLM systems with clear go/no-go criteria.
• Design systems focusing on quality, cost, latency, reliability, and safety.
• Define ML engineering operating model with launch readiness and monitoring.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design, Trust/Policy for concrete ML deliverables.
• Drive experimentation and translate learnings into improvements for trust and shopping outcomes.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to hiring and onboarding.
