Xometry is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to lead our Generative AI efforts and shape the future of manufacturing by applying cutting-edge AI research to real-world problems. You will drive multimodal document understanding, data extraction, and scalable AI solutions.

Lead development of large language and vision models, explore text, images, and 3D data, and build data pipelines to train and deploy at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, ML or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning or data science.
• Expertise in generative models, LLMs or computer vision.
• Experience with large-scale language/vision models (Transformers, GPT, VLMs).
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, pandas).
• Strong grounding in probability, statistics, and optimization for generative modeling.
• Experience deploying ML/AI models using cloud microservices (AWS preferred).
• Solid software engineering skills: OOP, testing, version control, CI/CD, IaC.

Responsibilities
