AppFolio is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to own the ML strategy and execution for Realm-X Leasing Performer, an autonomous AI agent powering leasing workflows.

You will collaborate across ML, product, and engineering to shape how the agent reasons, acts, and learns, while ensuring reliability, cost-efficiency, and safety at scale. This role blends applied ML with leasing domain expertise and platform-scale impact.

Competenze

• 7+ years building and scaling web-based applications, preferably SaaS.
• Systems thinker focused on platform-level leverage.
• Production ML infra experience with measurable impact.
• Ability to translate research into production features.
