Job summary

Certerra Subsurface Imaging Inc is seeking a Staff Metallurgist to apply hydrometallurgical expertise to heap leach pads and to design and execute solution injection programs. The role bridges metallurgy with non-invasive subsurface imaging and may involve up to 50% field work.

Training in resistivity, IP, and EM will be provided. Reporting to the Divisional Vice President, the position emphasizes collaboration with mine site personnel, data interpretation, and technical reporting.

Qualifications

• Requires a relevant bachelor’s degree in mining/metallurgical/chemical engineering.
• Experience with heap leach or related metallurgy principles preferred.
• Strong Excel and Word proficiency; Spanish fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply hydrometallurgical expertise to heap leach operations.
• Interpret leach pad performance data and translate into survey objectives.
• Collaborate with geophysicists on survey design and data interpretation.
• Assist with field work and field supervision as needed.
• Co-author technical reports and assist with proposals.
