The candidate should have BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years in biotech, strong CAD, GD&T, and experience with microfluidics and manufacturing workflows. Comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical design fundamentals and experience with complex hardware.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD, tolerance analysis, GD&T, and DFMA.
• Experience with integrated fluidics for biochemical processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and own subsystems and assemblies within the IVD instrument platform.
• Translate requirements into mechanical architectures and designs.
• Develop prototypes and production-intent hardware through iterative design.
• Perform 3D CAD, tolerancing, GD&T, material selection, and manufacturing/assembly.
• Evaluate test platforms for rapid iteration of instrument/consumable architectures.
• Guide teams on development-scale consumables manufacturing and fluidics.
