TSI Incorporated in Minnesota is seeking a Staff Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical engineering activities on projects, acting as the group expert for design and sourcing, and communicating across engineering, marketing, sales and production.
You will design mechanical portions of electronic instruments, model systems, support 3D printing, test sub-systems, and mentor other engineers while delivering thorough documentation and robust specifications.

The Staff Mechanical Engineer demonstrates a thorough understanding of a focused and highly disciplined approach to engineering project work and independently solves complex problems associated with the design, development and manufacturing of products. This role will assume leadership of Mechanical Engineering activities on projects and will serve as the group expert for Mechanical Engineering design and sourcing. A successful candidate must also effectively communicate in cross functional teams that span all engineering disciplines, marketing, sales, and production.
Some travel may be required (less than 10%), including international, to key customers, trade shows, and conferences to present papers and maintain awareness of the state of the art and competitive technologies

Competitive market salary from $140,000 - $155,000 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
