The position leads complex projects, drives design improvements, and ensures product performance, reliability, and manufacturability. Ideal candidates bring strong project management experience, expertise in CAD and electro-mechanical design, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment## ## **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** ## Support new product development projects as an R&D Core Team Member. Provide Project Management support as required.* ## Apply understanding of design control process to evaluate / challenge project teams as an independent reviewer.* ## Lead sustaining projects by identifying opportunities for design enhancements and implementing changes to optimize product functionality and manufacturability.* ## Provide technical support for the current product line, addressing issues and implementing solutions to improve performance and reliability.* ## Maintain detailed documentation of design changes, test results, and product specifications.* ## Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and customer support, to ensure seamless product sustainment.* ## Ensure all product modifications comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.* ## Conduct testing and validation of design changes to ensure they meet performance and safety criteria.* ## Maintains an understanding of all current manufacturing processes.* ## Actively participates in continuous improvement activities including but not limited to Kaizen and 5S events, Problem Solving Process, Value Stream Mapping, and Transaction Process Improvement.* ## Effectively collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.* ## Adheres to all company policies and procedures including safety and quality.* ## Travels up to 10% domestically and internationally.## ## **Incidental Duties:** The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job.
