Job summary

GE Aerospace in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Staff Model-Based Systems Engineer to lead cross-functional MBSE initiatives with broad business impact. You will guide design, requirements, architecture, and trade studies to deliver quality systems that meet user needs.

You will provide technical leadership, drive process excellence, mentor teams, and help integrate new technologies into NPI programs and production, while navigating security and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
• U.S. Citizenship; able to obtain US government security clearance.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; we do not sponsor visas.
• Ability to work full-time in an office schedule due to security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and program management leadership.
• Develop collaborative solutions across horizontal support organizations.
• Support modernization of design and systems engineering processes with lean tools.
• Execute modelling within an MBSE environment covering requirements, architecture, interfaces, and trade studies.
• Manage digital data environments, sources of truth, and data integration.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to personnel and teams.
• Ensure documentation of technical data per policies and procedures.
• Monitor project status and key developments; lead or participate in reviews.
• Help integrate new technologies into NPI programs and production.
