Job summary

Form Energy is hiring a Staff Manufacturing Engineer for our cathode advanced manufacturing team in Weirton, WV. You will design automation for high-volume assembly, coordinate engineers, and drive production handoff to operations.

The ideal candidate brings extensive automation experience, strong mechanical design skills, and knowledge of controls, electrical engineering, and vision systems. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or electrical engineering.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience with automation, robotics, and high-volume production environments.

Responsibilities

• Own design, sourcing, and commissioning of a high-volume assembly operation.
• Collaborate with product design teams to influence manufacturability (DFM).
• Develop DFMEAs and manage risk and burndown.
• Lead a team of manufacturing engineers across a project or line.
• Define automation, electrical, and controls requirements with internal/external partners.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables within scope.
