Job Description - STAFF/MAMMOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST (PT; 32hrs/wk) - Temple Health/Fox Chase Cancer Center (251972)

We are seeking a dedicated Staff/Mammography Technologist (Part-Time; 32 hours/week) to join Temple Health/Fox Chase Cancer Center. The role involves performing medical mammograms to diagnose disease or trauma, ensuring proper machine programming for optimal imaging, and maintaining safety standards in accordance with radiation safety guidelines.

The Technologist will be responsible for operating mammography equipment, conducting QA/QC tests as per MQSA standards, and working on the Mobile Mammography Van when required, including some weekends. All responsibilities apply when assigned to the mobile unit.

Qualifications
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Mammography required within 2 years of hire
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Graduate from a two-year AMA-approved radiologic technology program
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience specifically in Mammography
Licenses and Certifications
  • RT(R)(M) - Registered Technologist in Radiography and Mammography
  • MSQA - Mammography Quality Standards Act compliance
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
