Job summary

BD is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to advance next‑generation medical technologies for continuous physiological monitoring, disease detection, and predictive clinical decision support. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
• 7+ years in AI/ML, algorithm development, biomedical signal processing, healthcare analytics, or related areas.
• Deep expertise in classical and modern ML/AI model development.
• Experience with physiological time-series data and clinical datasets.
• Strong Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, validation and deployment of AI/ML algorithms for continuous physiological monitoring and risk stratification.
• Develop algorithms using multimodal data including physiological signals, EHRs, and imaging data.
• Apply advanced analytical approaches across classical ML, time-series, signal processing and deep learning.
• Translate clinical understanding into robust algorithm design and deployable solutions.
• Build end-to-end pipelines for data ingestion, annotation, model training, validation and monitoring.
